'The Sting', a deliciously clever crime/comedy film was directed by one-time Oscar winning director George Roy Hill, andfeatured both Robert Redford in Paul Newman as lead actors.

The title soundtrack from Marvin Hamlisch was based on Scott Joplin's 'The Entertainer', however, despite carrying the same name, the music is often simply referred to as 'The Sting' as people tend to associate it to the film. A witty tune fits a witty movie, it's only logical.
